Chu Writers : Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick Pre Release Hype :  The only reason I wish to watch Gi Joe movie is like thousands of people who grew up in 90’s, I too loved Gi Joe cartoon and Hasbro action figures. I still have dozen’s of them ! So with such a fan base, Gi Joe movie could leverage it for it’s advantage to create a franchise like current super hero movies. Gi Joe ‘Rise of the Cobra’ had a moderate opening with some top class action sequence and the sequel ‘Gi Joe Retaliation’ is expected to be even better.   Post Release Review : The movie starts with Gi Joe’s now recognised, showing their prowess in North Korea and Pakistan. ISRO launches world’s first smartphone controlled nano satellite STRaND-1 successfully into orbit

STRaND-1 curtesy SSTL ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) today successfully launched the world’s first smart phone controlled nano satellite – STRaND-1 along with 6 other satellites using it’s highly successful PSLV- C20 launch vehicle. STRaND-1 (Surrey Training, Research, and Nanosatellite Demonstrator) built by Surrey Space Technologies LTD(SSTL),Uk is a low cost technology demonstrator nano satellite controlled by Google Nexus One Android smartphone. SSTL website states – after the initial operating system of the satellite finishes it’s checks,  the control of the satellite would be passed to the smartphone. The Android mobile would run some apps and take pictures of the earth using it’s own camera through a port-hole in the satellite.
