Nokia announces 41-megapixel camera phone !! – 808 Pureview – MWC2012

You read it right, it is a whooping 41-Megapixel camera phone from Nokia announced at Mobile world congress 2012 called 808 Pure View. This Symbian belle running phones is touted as a true successor to the Nokia N8 powered by a 1.3 GHz single-core processor, 4″ display with 360×640 (nHD) resolution. Memory is 512MB RAM and 16GB onboard storage with expandable microSD slot. Pentabad signal with HSPA 14.4 Mbps data plans.
The Carl zeiss 41-megapixel camera  has a continuous-focus of 1080p and would have 36-megapixel when shooting 16:9 images. The technology behind it is sub-pixel interpolation, which entails 5 pixels merged into one.
It is expected to arrive in May with a price tag of 450 Euros.
