An Android Tablet for Hackers – Auraslate

Aura Design a startup has launched a set of tablets aimed at hackers and coders.  What makes this tablet different from others in the market is that Auraslate comes  with source code and hardware drivers of the tablets, so that the hackers can get on to their work right away and need wait for the manufacturers to open up the source code.
Auraslate comes with 7″ and 10″ version with price range from $139 to $270 respectively. These tablets have an ARM Cortex A9 CPU, 4B storage and Gorilla Glass coated capacitive touchscreen.
The 10″ version called Lifepad 1026 is said to run with Android 4.0 OS.
According to the company’s website,
“We encourage mischievous and curious individuals to see what comes naturally for them to dig in and see what possibilities this tablet may become,”
