Flash for mobiles officially dead, confirms Adobe . Can hear Jobs laugh from grave

Well if jobs was around we could have heard him say “I told you so !! ” .
Adobe has confirmed today that its flash player for mobile devices is officially dead and it would concentrate on the development of HTML5 here after , as it is widely supported by the browsers of latest mobile devices.

Adobe has said it will encourage developers to develop native applications on its adobe air platform and it would further continue development on the desktop version of its famous flash player which powers millions of web pages around the globe.

But with HTML5 catching up very fast, we guess it wont be very long before adobe gives the same verdict to its desktop cousin. What are your views on this ? share it through the comments.
